And this one is flirtatious – Fillipa K’s (one of Sweden’s leading fashion brands started in 1993) soft sport line which also started trending in May this year. Their’s is a versatile collection of sportswear, travel and leisurewear, and beachwear capturing the timeless Scandinavian elegance. It easily merges function with comfort without compromising on style.

The founders Filippa Knutsson and Patrik Kihlborg wanted to design trendy, independent collections with substance and truth which addresses the needs of a fashion conscious sporty woman who prioritizes ‘me time’. So most of it is constructed with high-tech microfiber for a quick drying effect, as it helps in comfortable movement. Its racerback tank tops, some strappy numbers, yoga leggings, shorts, light jackets and other accessories are all fashion to function monochrome subtle ensembles.

The point to be noted is that last year before launching Filippa K tied up with – LTP, in Lithuania, a Blue sign certified manufacturing company, for soft sport. This means it follows sustainable textile production, by eliminating harmful substances from the beginning and controlling standards for an environmentally friendly and safe production. Also being technically advanced it can provide laser cutting, ultrasonic, taping, bonding etc. which are important differentiating factors when every second counts.
